Xianyang Polytechnic Institute (XYPI) sealed a cooperation memorandum with Singapore’s Mozi International Technology Group on May 20 afternoon, marking a new milestone in bilateral vocational education collaboration.
Feng Hua, Vice President of Xianyang Polytechnic Institute, and Wang Yanhong, Chief Executive Officer of Mozi International Technology Group, signed the memorandum on behalf of their respective institutions. Faculty members from XYPI’s International Exchange and Cooperation Office and relevant project staff from Mozi International Technology Group attended the ceremony.

During the event, Feng Hua reviewed the fruitful outcomes of the institute’s long-term cooperation with Singapore. She stated that the newly inked international cooperation memorandum focusing on elderly and child care services is highly compatible with the featured strengths and construction needs of the institute’s major clusters under the national “Double High-Level Program”. She expressed the expectation that the cooperation will introduce Singapore’s advanced concepts and teaching resources in elderly care services, support the joint development of bilingual courses and practical training programs, and create opportunities for faculty and students to pursue academic visits, further studies and vocational skill training in Singapore. Wang Yanhong noted that Mozi International Technology Group will give full play to its platform advantages to advance the project and deliver practical cooperation outcomes.

Following the ceremony, both sides exchanged views on the implementation arrangements for the first-phase project. The two parties agreed to adhere to the principles of pragmatic progress, phased implementation and result-oriented development. Both sides will strive to build a new benchmark for China-Singapore vocational education international cooperation, and inject fresh momentum into deepening people-to-people exchanges and industry-education integration between the two countries.
