Xianyang Polytechnic Institute (XYPI) formalized a trilateral international cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan Higher Medical College and CSCIEC International Education Technology (Beijing) via a virtual signing ceremony on Wednesday, October 22. The event saw the presence of XYPI Vice President Wu Xujin, along with deans of the Medical School and the International Cooperation Office. Representing Kazakhstan Higher Medical College were President Alaidarova Aina Kantulovna, Vice Presidents Atamkulov Baitibek Kunanbaiuly and Aitbayeva Akbolly Slykbayevna, alongside delegates from the Beijing-based educational technology firm.

In her remarks, Wu Xujin underscored that the partnership represents a significant step in advancing XYPI’s “Double High-Level” initiative and supports Belt and Road Initiative through vocational education globalization. She reiterated the institute’s commitment to leveraging its expertise in health and medical programs to foster a high-caliber platform for talent development, contributing to a “Healthy Silk Road.”
President Alaidarova highlighted her institution’s academic heritage and regional impact, noting the significance of the partnership as a milestone following extensive prior negotiations. She voiced strong expectations for the two sides to deepen engagement through joint programs, academic exchanges, and professional development, noting that the introduction of Chinese vocational standards will enhance the quality and global competitiveness of their college while creating pathways for students to pursue studies in China.

The ceremony culminated with the formal signing of the trilateral agreement. The partnership positions XYPI to further expand its educational outreach across Central Asia and other Belt and Road partner countries, facilitating the global adoption of China’s high-standard vocational resources and technical frameworks.
