Xianyang Polytechnic Institute (XYPI) recently convened online talks with Kazakhstan's Belt and Road Research Institute and the Almaty Sino-Kazakh International Medical Center to accelerate its "Qinling Workshop" overseas vocational education project.

Discussions centered on promoting XYPI's "Qinling Workshop", including collaborative course development in the fields of nursing and traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), creation of a shared online teaching platform, and plans for teacher-student exchanges between XYPI and Kazakh partners.
The Qinling Workshop project, recently approved in the first-phase review by Shaanxi's education authorities, has expanded its partnership network through this meeting. These efforts align with XYPI's ongoing "Double High-Level" initiative to strengthen vocational education quality and global engagement.
The virtual meeting reinforced cross-border cooperation under the Belt and Road initiatives. The institute will continue to leverage such partnerships to enhance its international profile while supporting regional economic development through vocational education standards exportation, skills training and cultural exchange.
