Recently, XVTC developed the automotive engineering technician 4-5 post professional standard for Tanzania, successfully get approved by Tanzania National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Committee (NACTVET), obtained official certification, and was formally included in Tanzania's national vocational education system.
In April this year, the National Vocational Education Committee of the Ministry of Education of Tanzania and Uganda Sunmaker Oil and Gas Training Institute jointly launched the "Project of Chinese Vocational Colleges Developing Professional Standards and Supporting Talent Training Programs for Tanzania's National Development Industry". After the release of the project and expert review, the college was approved to independently undertake the development task of professional standards for the post of automotive engineering technician 4-5. After the project was launched, XVTC attached great importance to the project and organized the teachers from School of Automotive Engineering of XVTC as expert team, held several online promotion meetings, repeated discussions and exchanges, and organized the first batch of online briefing sessions on the "Tanzania National Occupational Standards Development Project", which was finally completed the establishment of professional standards for the post of automotive engineering technician 4-5.
Under the organization of the Tanzania National Vocational Education Committee and China-Africa Vocational Education Alliance, after strict selection, the first batch of Tanzania National Vocational Standards Development Projects has 43 Chinese vocational colleges participating in the formulation of 54 post vocational standards and supporting professional teaching standards. This project is the first time that China directly develops and revises professional standards for an African country in a large-scale, self-contained and batch manner, and it is a milestone for the international development of our country's vocational education.
