On May 31, the education delegation from Uiseong County, South Korea, including 26 administrators, teachers and students, visited Xianyang Vocational and Technical College.
The delegation first had a meeting with Zhao Yunlong, Vice President of Xianyang Vocational and Technical College, and Wei Wenping, Vice Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation, XVTC, who hosted the meeting. Zhao gave a brief introduction to the history, location, faculty cultivation, campus construction infrastructure, majors and international collaboration including faculty overseas professional development, study abroad programs, overseas employment, joint education, cultural exchange, foreign teachers, and WorldSkills competition in recent years. Zhao said this was the fourth time that education delegations from Uiseong County had visited XVTC, and XVTC had always cherished its friendship with Uiseong County. The guests first expressed their admiration of the campus construction as well as the accomplishment in international exchange and cooperation XVTC had achieved, and then talked about the possible cooperation between Uiseong County and XVTC.
After the meeting, the delegation had a campus tour,visiting the new stadium, the Medical School training labs, the National Culture and Art Museum, the Orff Music Training Room and the Montessori Training Room in the Normal School, training rooms in the Automotive School, practical training facilities in the Practical Training Building, as well as the airplane cabin simulator in the School of Finance and Economics.
